Antique Melk Al-Tajjar Hotel in Yazd is the world’s first adobe hotel, starting its operation in 2000 and undergoing renovations in 2014 to enhance its quality of service. This historic building was once owned by a prominent Yazdi merchant named Haj Ali Askar Shirazi. It is located near the Khan Bazaar and Khan Square. The hotel features various sections, including the octagonal room, winter and summer quarters, royal suites, a large pool, and underground passageways connecting different parts of the building.
