Historical Arg of Gogad

The 3-star traditional Historical Arg of Gogad Hotel is one of the ancient and attractive buildings in Golpayegan city, Isfahan province. This complex is located in a city called Gogad, approximately 5 kilometers from Golpayegan to Tehran road. Arg of Gogad was situated on the famous Silk Road, making it the second oldest brick and mud structure in Iran, dating back approximately four centuries. This complex, used as a caravanserai during peace and a military fortress during times of banditry, is now utilized as a traditional guesthouse. It is noteworthy that the distance from this city to Isfahan city is approximately two hours and thirty minutes.
